Marinating flank steak in coconut aminos and lemon is reminiscent of “toyo-mansi”. It is a seasoning made with a combination of soy sauce and a citrus called calamansi that is popular among Filipinos.
This Air Fryer Flank Steak takes no more than 5 minutes to prepare the night before and uses ingredients that you already have at home. I recommend marinating the meat overnight or at least 4 hours . The citrus can tenderize the flank and infuse it with amazing flavor.
Cooking flank steak in the air fryer is super easy! Just set it, forget it and let the air fryer do it’s magic. Once the steak is done, let it rest and thinly slice before serving.

Flavor was great! Time was a little long for my taste in doneness. Every air fryer is a little different of course! Will use again with slightly less time. Thank you!
