I can guarantee that this Slow Cooker Turkey Chili will be part of your meal prep rotation because it’s easy, delicious and will satisfy your comfort food cravings!
I’ve been making it twice a month and it’s almost always gone within a day or two. This is a bean-less chili that is chock-full of veggies so it’s filling but not heavy at all. It literally takes no more than 15 minutes to prepare this and brown the turkey before letting the slow cooker take over and do the rest of the work for you. I like to top mine with some goat cheese and green onions then dig in while it’s still piping hot!
I’ve updated the recipe to include instructions on cooking this in an Instant Pot because sometimes, I’m impatient and want my chili asap 😉

I’ve made his chili several times and it’s always a hit. I’ve used turkey, venison, and beef. Delicious!!
This looks delicious! When using the IP, do we brown the ground turkey beforehand as well?
Yes brown beforehand as well.
Hi
So when you make this do you use the slow cooker function on the instant pot and then after the 4 and a half hours turn to the pressure cooker function?
Hi! No, the Slow cooker and Instant Pot (pressure cooker) instructions are separate. For the slow cooker one, you just let it cook for 4 1/2 hours.
Hi
So there is no need to Brown the meat before putting it in the instant pot like you state for the slow cooking method ?
Browning is optional. I prefer to do it so the meat isn’t clumped up after it cooks in the IP.
Also which method do you prefer to use?
I love the IP method because it’s so much faster 🙂
